UTI Foundation Awards the First Brienne Davis Memorial Scholarship

PHOENIX, Dec. 16, 2008 – The Universal Technical Institute (UTI) Foundation today selected Kenna Primm of Greenwood, Ark. as the first Brienne Davis Memorial Scholarship recipient. Named in honor of the UTI graduate and NASCAR Sprint Cup official who died tragically in April of this year, the $10,000 scholarship will fund a portion of Primm’s technical education at UTI’s NASCAR Technical Institute, NASCAR Tech in Mooresville, N.C.

Students Awarded Daimler Trucks North America Scholarship

Phoenix, Ariz. – The Universal Technical Institute (UTI) Foundation announced today that three students have been awarded the Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA)/Bob Fyda - Finish First Scholarship. 5/28/2008 - As many of you learned during the employee contribution campaign last year, the UTI Foundation is a 501(c)3 Arizona non-profit umbrella organization that covers all UTI not-for-profit initiatives and is dedicated to raising funds to further its mission and strategic goals. While the UTI Foundation has been busy, enabling individuals to complete technical training leading to career success by offering scholarships, they have also been working on other exciting opportunities. One of those was securing a donation of materials from the Grainger Corporation for the UTI-Houston campus.
