There is no easier way to make a charitable deduction and support UTI students at the same time than by simply writing a check!  Make sure your envelope is postmarked by December 31 to receive credit for the current year.

If you itemize, your gifts of cash are fully tax deductible for federal income tax purposes up to 50% of your adjusted gross income.  If your total gifts in one year exceed this number, you may carry the excess over for an additional five years.
