Employee Campaign

The 2011 Care 2 Share Pledge Drive ran from November 22, 2010, through January 28, 2011.  UTI employees opened their hearts and demonstrated their Hero Values, kindness and compassion.  The UTI Foundation would like to thank all of you for your continued generosity this year.  Because of your donations, we exceeded our goal of $150,000 by raising nearly $175,000!  Thanks to all of you, the UTI Foundation can help a struggling family get to campus, pay a student's rent to prevent eviction, or simply have food for a few days.  We are extremely grateful for your support!

And a very special congratulations to the Dallas/Fort Worth campus with 100% participation!

During the 2010 UTI Foundation Care 2 Share Pledge Drive that took place from November 23, 2009, to January 29, 2010, UTI employees banded together and donated more than $183,000 to the Foundation.  Thanks to everyone's generosity, the UTI Foundation reached 151% of their goal!  The capacity of UTI employees to Care 2 Share is truly tremendous!  When the Foundation's Care 2 Share: Making Dreams a Reality pledge drive kicked off in November, the goal was to raise $121,000 to help the Foundation continue their mission of making dreams a reality.

However, UTI employees blew that goal away and then some!  The pledge drive ended Friday, January 29th, and we are happy to announce that the final tally was $183,214.08, which is 151% of the goal!

A HUGE thank you goes out to each and every one of you who contributed to the UTI Foundation through the Care 2 Share pledge drive.  100% of your contributions will go directly to the program(s) selected when you made your donation.  Our campus student pantries and emergency funds, the countless special programs and funds of the Foundation, and numerous scholarships and grants will all benefit from the contributions made this year!

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, 604 pledge forms were collected and $121,052 was contributed during the Care 2 Share campaign! The dollars raised will go a long way in helping the UTI Foundation make dreams a reality through their scholarships, special programs and more.

Congratulations to our campus with the highest number of pledge forms turned in: UTI-Houston at almost 60%! Thanks to everyone’s efforts in Houston, the campus will receive a donut party, courtesy of the UTI Foundation.

There are very few workplaces where people have hearts this big and a willingness to help others as we do at UTI! And the UTI Foundation was created as an extension of our culture of generosity. With the UTI Foundation by our side, we now have a talented team able to take on larger goals and help more people than we ever could on our own.
