Cheryl Bond Student Emergency Travel Grant -
For recent high school graduates who have an en route travel-related emergency preventing them for starting school. Must be traveling more than 250 miles to a campus and be recommended by a UTI campus or field representative who will submit the required application form to the UTI Foundation.
*NEW* Advanced Training Scholarship - Apply Now
Established by UTI’s CEO Kim McWaters and her husband Chris, the Advanced Training Scholarship will assist students who wish to seek industry specific training but lack the resources to cover their relocation costs. This scholarship will help deserving students overcome a financial need which would prevent them from relocating to another UTI campus to receive advanced training in optional electives or Manufacturer Specific Advanced Training (MSAT). A minimum of five $1,000 cash grants will be awarded per month to cover student relocation costs such as travel expenses, rent, utilities, etc.

With this scholarship, AutoZone will help deserving students attend any UTI/NTI campus automotive program to receive the technical education they need to follow their passion and pursue a successful career in automotive retail. One $2,000 scholarship per deadline will be awarded as a tuition grant-in-aid to assist in funding a portion of the student’s education.
Bridgestone/Firestone Technical Scholarship - Apply Now
Future students attending the UTI Avondale, UTI Sacramento or UTI Rancho Cucamonga campus may apply for this $2,000 scholarship. One award per deadline/per location will be awarded as a tuition grant-in-aid to assist in funding a portion of the student’s education.
William K. Burke Student Support Fund - Apply Now
As a way to pay tribute to the life and accomplishments of Bill Burke, this scholarship was established to assist a current student in good standing in the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute Early Model Program, at the Orlando, FL campus. One $1,100 grant-in-aid will be awarded annually.
Albert A. Cabito Scholarship - Apply Now
The Albert A. Cabito scholarship program was developed to aid future students pursue a technical education at any UTI or NTI automotive campus. One $2,000 scholarship will be awarded each quarter. This scholarship program was made possible by a generous grant from the Cabito Family with additional support from Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc. and UTI.
A. Richard Caputo Jr. Scholarship - Apply Now
The A. Richard Caputo Jr. Scholarship was developed to help deserving students attend any UTI campus automotive program to receive the technical education they need to follow their passion and pursue successful careers. Future students meeting the criteria may apply for this $2,500 tuition grant-in-aid. Two awards will be made per deadline. This scholarship program is made possible by the generosity of A. Richard Caputo Jr.

The CFC Military Veterans Support Grant will support veteran students with the greatest financial need who face an insurmountable financial hardship which jeopardizes their ability to get to school or stay in school. The award can be used cover costs such as rent, utilities, gas, moving expenses, etc. The award amount available is up to $750 and will be determined based on available funds and the need of the applicant.
Richard "Pup" Conklin Motorcycle Mechanics Scholarship - Apply NowThis $1,200 tuition grant-in-aid was established by the friends and family of Richard "Pup" Conklin to help a local Ohio student pursue their educational dreams. One scholarship is available to a current student in good standing at the Orlando, FL or Phoenix, AZ campus of MMI. Click the apply now link for the information/application.
Clint Cunard and Michael Godden Memorial Scholarship - Apply Now
To honor the memories of Clint Cunard and Michael Godden by recognizing a Harrison County, Iowa resident with a strong passion for motorcycles and a desire to further their education at either the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute Orlando, FL or Phoenix, AZ campus. Future students meeting the criteria may apply for this $2,000 scholarship which will be presented as a tuition grant-in-aid to assist in funding a portion of one recipient’s education.
UTI Foundation Brienne Davis Scholarship - Apply Now
The scholarship is named in memory of Brienne Davis, a UTI graduate and NASCAR official. This annual scholarship is open to any eligible female who wishes to attend the automotive program at any Universal Technical Institute campus. A letter of recommendation and essay is required.

The Robert D. Hartman Opportunity Scholarship recognizes the lifetime achievement of Universal Technical Institute former President and CEO Robert D. Hartman. This scholarship is designed to assist recent high school graduates who are having difficulty bridging the funding gap between the cost of a UTI education and federal funding assistance. Future students who will attend either the Avondale, AZ, Rancho Cucamonga or Sacramento CA campus of UTI and who meet all the scholarship’s criteria may apply for this $5,000 grant-in-aid. Nissan Automotive Technical Training Scholarship Program - Apply Now
Nissan North America, Nissan Neighbors and the UTI Foundation are partnering with Nissan Dealers and Infiniti Retailers to provide tuition support for students interested in attending the Nissan Automotive Technical Training program at four UTI NATT campuses, Houston, NASCAR Tech, Orlando and Sacramento. Selected students will receive a $5,000 award to be used as a full tuition scholarship with additional funds for housing and living expenses. Roger Penske Outstanding Student Award - Apply Now
The purpose of the Roger Penske Outstanding Student Award is to recognize exceptional UTI students who are dedicated to succeeding in the automotive service industry and who have demonstrated the ability to assist other students to do the same. The selected award winner will be given a cash award of $12,000.
*NEW* Relocation Grant - Apply Now
The Relocation Grant will support future students with the greatest financial need who face an insurmountable financial hardship in getting to campus to start their education. There is a matching fund requirement from the student. The award can be used cover relocation costs associated with moving to any UTI/MMI/NTI campus to start school, such as: travel costs (gas, hotel stay), initial rent/mortgage payment, utilities, or other setup fees. The award amount available is up to $750 and will be determined based on available funds and the need of the applicant.
Brian T. Rounds Travel Grant - Apply Now Donate Now
In Memory of Brian T. Rounds his family has started this grant at the MMI Phoenix Campus for future students with a start date in October-December or January-February. Eligible applicants must also be relocating from either St. Louis, MO; Atlanta, GA; or Arizona. The purpose of the fund is to provide a cash grant to assist a future MMI Phoenix student cover a shortage of funds needed to relocate and start school. The award can be used to assist with moving or cost of living expenses. The award will be made to one recipient in early March.
Bob Sweet Founder's Scholarship - Apply Now
This scholarship is named for Founder Bob Sweet who began UTI in 1965 with the first class consisting of five automatic transmission students. The Bob Sweet Founder’s Scholarship was established to help deserving students fulfill their dream of attending the UTI Avondale campus to receive a first class technical education. One $4,500 scholarship will be awarded as a tuition grant-in-aid to assist in funding a portion of the student’s education.
Andrew Carl Sliwinski Memorial Scholarship - Apply Now
In memory of Andrew Carl Sliwinski, this scholarship was established to help a deserving student fulfill their dream of completing their education in the NASCAR Technical Institute Ford Fact program. One $500 scholarship will be awarded to a NASCAR Technical Institute student currently attending the Ford Fact program to assist in funding a portion of the student’s education.
